20 Years in the Saddle—and Still Gaining Speed

Founded in 2005, Milford Velo Club began as a small group of local riders who simply loved the road and the rhythm of the ride. With just a few bikes, early-morning meetups at Fowler Field, and a shared passion for cycling, MVC quickly grew from a neighborhood spin into a cornerstone of the Connecticut cycling scene.

Over the past 20 years, we’ve logged thousands of miles, supported countless charity rides, and welcomed riders of all levels into our coastal peloton. From sunrise training rides along the Sound to epic weekend adventures in the hills, our club has become known for its camaraderie, consistency, and pure joy on two wheels.

We’ve celebrated milestones, endured weather and wear, and evolved with every generation of rider—yet our mission remains the same: ride together, grow stronger, and build community through cycling.

As we look ahead, we’re proud of our past and even more excited about the road still to come.
